Goals and Objectives

This course is designed to present an overview of Spanish civilization from the Middle Ages through the present day. The purpose of the course is also to develop better conversation and written skills. In short, our objective is to understand the various ways Spaniards think about and express themselves.

Policies and Procedures: Grading

     25%.....In-class grade (quality of preparation, participation, reports, and charla semanal)
     10%.....Web Summaries
     40%.....2 Examenes (From beginning through Middle Ages and Siglo XVI through Siglo XIX)
     25%.....Final exam (Comprehensive)
