Web Summaries
Written Assignment: (10% of final grade)
- A summary/report in Spanish on Websites you found of interest.
(The number of sites may vary, but the report should be between
900 and 1200 words)
- You may consult dictionaries, spell check, and El Corrector
(in lab), but no one else may proof the paper for you.
- Each entry should include the following:
- Title
- URL address (you can easily copy this by using the RIGHT
click, "copy link"
- A descriptive summary: what it contains, what you found
interesting, etc.
- An evaluative statement: (a sentence or two: how important
is this site and for whom?; highly recommended? good but too
complex; good but not enough information; not linked well to
other sites, etc. In other words, critique what you've
found.)
- If your site forms a part of a larger grouping, be sure
and also list the HOMEpage. For example, El archivo
de las indias in Sevilla is listed along with many other
interesting sites on the Cultura de Sevilla homepage.
The latter, or default homepage, is just as important as the
individual ones since it may be useful to other students working
on a related topic.
- All journals must be typed and double-spaced. You
may use bold if you wish to direct my attention to important
titles or topics.
