BOOKS IN W&L LIBRARIES
- Annie, the W&L library catalog, lists the
books (and other materials) in Leyburn Library, the Law Library, the Science library,
and other libraries on the W&L campus.
- Generally, when looking for materials on a subject, use the Keyword option. Examples:
- alcoholi*
- television and aggressi*
- television and (aggressi* or violen*)
The asterisk (*) at the end of a sequence of letters causes Annie to search for various forms of a word.

BOOKS WHICH MAY NOT BE IN W&L LIBRARIES
- There are two basic methods of searching for books outside the W&L
library system:
- searching an individual institution's catalog; or
- searching multiple library catalogs through the commercial WorldCat
database.
- Both these approaches are available from the
Libraries and Their Catalogs page, located within the W&L Web site.
- Remember -- many books not available in W&L libraries can be borrowed through
interlibrary loan.
