SENIOR SEMINAR IN ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

The Senior Seminar in Environmental Studies (Environmental Studies Capstone Course) is required of all students who wish to complete the program in Environmental Studies. It is a student research oriented class, that focuses on a particular topic, with the objective of integrating the different disciplinary perspectives required to solve a contemporary environmental problem.

 

The winter 2003 semester will focus on the problem of invasive species.

The Senior Seminar is offered in the winter semester. It is open only to seniors or to juniors who will have a conflict (such as study abroad or a capstone course in their major) in their senior year. Students who are not participants in the environmental studies program must have the permission of the instructor.
