Don't know what I was smiling about. Superb restaurant though -- La Focaccia.
Lisa Shapiro (Simon Fraser University) et moi. A gorgeous Saturday in New York, just after lunch in that Bistro.
With Lisa and Michael Della Rocca (Yale). Don't be fooled. Della Rocca's family is from Sicily. Note the nervous laughter, the forced smiles.
Now that's more like it. At last some drinks. With Liz Harman (NYU) and Carl (NYU).
You finally find a good bar, and some jerk shoves a camera in your face. With Dale Jameison and Liz.
Wait... what am I laughing at?
