Genl
Robert E. Lee
General,
You
will much oblige me by sending me a Catalogue of Washington College for this
year, with such advice as may enable me to direct the studies of a young man
from the present time to the commencement of the next session.
The youth is about 16 years old not very forward in his age and it is of
great importance, in case he should enter, what he should study to advantage in
the interval.
An early answer containing the desired information will be esteemed a
great favour by
Your obedt Servant
Daniel F. Wright
(Late Senr Surgeon Archer’s Brigade)
