Many thanks for your kind letter.  I am glad to hear that you are all are well.  I fear you will have a terrible time & be half starved before we get back.  I had intended to have returned Monday, but Rooney is quite sick & will not be able to travel.  I shall return Wednesday if possible.  Tell Wm he must get what is necessary for you till I return.  All unite with me I much love & many kind wishes.  I hope your books have arrived & that you will be able to do a good business.
