I am much gratified to find that I am still remembered by you & am very grateful for your pretty New Years gift.  It will be very useful & I require nothing to remind me of my Camp near Bloomsburg - I can think of nothing to send in return but the accompy photograph.  It may serve to scare away those Cavaliers who were so fond of bearing you off on horseback.  I hope you are very well & that this year may bring you much happiness.  With every good wish to yourself & kind regards to your father & mother,
