My dear Col:

I return you the letter enclosed to me-- Mrs Lee says it is not intended for her, but she thinks for Mrs Hugh Lee, of whose whereabouts Capt Barton will tell you, or Mrs Sam Hoffman. - The letter is from Mrs I. B. Gordon residing at Brunswick with her husband the Genl - Mrs H. Lee was with her in Petersburg as of 4'5 (interpreted to mean 4 May).
