The three articles taken from Arlington during its occupancy by the U. S. Soldiers, which accompanied your note of the 10th Inst: have been recd.

I am much obliged to you for restoring them to me.  As you express a desire to possess the picture of Washington printed on Satin in 1798, I take pleasure in presenting it to you.
