I was so glad to get your kind & sympathetic letter & I think all you say about my brother he deserves   He was very fond of you, & often spoke of you.

I wish it was so that we could see each other - I have  so many old friends whom I would enjoy seeing if I could only get around    We are becoming fewer & fewer

I am now a bit of an invalid - legs & hands - but my general health is very good

So I am very thankful.
